Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment in a steady workflow shop environment.
We are looking for someone dependable, mechanically skilled, and able to troubleshoot problems efficiently without constant supervision.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and driveline components
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine service work
- Inspect trucks and equipment for mechanical and safety issues
- Use diagnostic software and tools to identify problems
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform quality checks before equipment is returned to service
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
