Automotive Mobile Heavy Duty Mechanic

Job Summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is looking for a Mobile Heavy Duty Mechanic to perform all‑purpose duties including technical support, vehicle diagnostics using Autel scanning units, and customer communication.

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers
• Answer inbound and outbound calls in support of Autel scanning unit
• Troubleshoot and resolve vehicle technology issues
• Conduct research to understand, explain, and resolve technical problems
• Support diagnostic procedures and vehicle servicing on the road

• 2+ years of experience as a Diagnostic Technician
• I‑CAR and ASE certifications preferred; current or willing to obtain
• Ability to use proper tools for job duties
• Must pass mandatory background checks and pre‑employment screenings
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions (E‑Verify compliant)

• Minimum age 21
• Physical capability to lift ≥ 50 lbs, kneel, bend, squat and reach above shoulder level
• Read and understand written instructions, estimates, and work orders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Adaptable to competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Provide personable, friendly customer service
