911 Restoration of Central Arkansas is seeking an experienced, detail‑oriented Construction Project Manager
. This is a hybrid role requiring strong administrative project management oversight, subcontractor coordination, and a deep, hands‑on understanding of residential trades. The ideal candidate can look at a finished room and instantly spot if the trim, paint, or sheetrock isn’t up to professional standards because they’ve successfully done the work themselves.
- Project Oversight & Management: Manage multiple residential and light commercial rebuild projects from initial scope to final sign‑off, ensuring timelines and budgets are strictly met.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Source, vet, schedule, and manage specialized subcontractors. Hold crews accountable for quality, cleanliness, and deadlines.
- Customer Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners and business owners during a stressful rebuilding process. Deliver exceptional customer service, manage expectations, and provide regular updates.
- Quality Assurance (Hands‑On Knowledge): Perform regular field inspections to audit work. You must possess the trade knowledge to identify proper execution in:
- Sheetrock installation and level‑4/5 finishing
- Interior production and detail painting
- Detailed trim, casing, and crown molding installation
- Cabinet setting and leveling
- Flooring installation (LVP, tile, hardwood)
- Light structural framing
- Office Operations: Maintain accurate project files, schedules, and documentation out of our Central Arkansas office (M‑F, 7am‑4pm).
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated history managing residential or commercial construction/remodel projects, budgets, and schedules.
- Deep Trade Literacy: Substantial, practical knowledge of framing, drywall, paint, trim, cabinets, and flooring. (You must know how the work is done to manage those doing it).
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to navigate difficult conversations with stressed homeowners and push back on subcontractors when necessary.
- Availability: Regular office hours are M‑F, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Must be willing to participate in an occasional weekend on‑call rotation for emergency field oversight/customer care.
