Overview

Penmac Staffing is now hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate for a local Conway client. This full-time, temp-to-hire role pays $16.00 per hour and works Monday through Friday 7am-4pm.

• Candidates should have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with production, management, the purchasing department, and vendors.
• A basic understanding of inventory control, good keyboarding skills, and strong organization are essential.
• Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., follow written procedures, and perform basic math.
• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screen.

• Organize and store stock, keeping warehouse areas clean and clearly labeled
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update internal databases
• Pull and stage parts for projects using material pick lists
• Verify incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and report any issues
• Prepare outgoing shipments by safely packing items and building pallets or crates
• Retrieve items for processing and shipping
• Use Global Shop to record all shipped and received goods
• Operate a forklift as needed and pick up orders from vendors
• Assist with periodic physical inventory audits
