Overview

Student Account Specialist (Fiscal Technician II) – full‑time position in the Office of Student Accounts. Pay Grade: GEN
06. Salary range: $37,200.00 - $48,300.00. Normal work hours Monday–Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.;
Friday 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet special scheduling needs of the university.

• Assist students, parents, and colleagues with questions regarding billing, receipting, and disbursement functions.
• Process payments and deposits for all members of the University Community.
• Assist in customer flow within the office to streamline and reduce wait times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• High school diploma and experience in entry‑level accounting or bookkeeping.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for required work experience.

• Experience in retail or other customer‑intensive industries.
• Banking experience an advantage.
• Experience assisting and communicating with customers.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to stay focused in a fast‑paced environment.
