Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced office, enjoys helping others, and can stay organized while juggling multiple priorities? We are seeking an Intake & Administrative Specialist to support a busy Health Business Office in Conway, SC
.

This is a high-volume, patient-facing position that serves as the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking health services. Every day is different, and success in this role requires professionalism, empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm while managing a steady flow of patients, phone calls, scheduling, and administrative responsibilities.

  • Location: Conway, SC
  • Pay: $15.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (37.5 hours/week with occasional opportunity for up to 40 hours)
What You'll Do

As part of the Business Office team, you'll help ensure patients receive a positive and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and families while providing exceptional customer service
  • Completing new patient registrations and intake using electronic systems
  • Answering a multi-line phone system and directing calls appropriately
  • Scheduling appointments and maintaining patient calendars
  • Collecting and entering insurance information accurately
  • Maintaining patient records and ensuring timely documentation
  • Assisting with front desk coverage, patient check-in, and supporting clinical staff as needed
We're Looking For Someone Who:
  • Excels in a busy, high-volume office environment
  • Can confidently multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
  • Has excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Is patient, compassionate, and respectful when working with individuals experiencing health challenges and their families
  • Is dependable, adaptable, and maintains confidentiality at all times
  • Has strong computer skills and experience using office equipment such as scanners, printers, and multi-line phone systems
  • Has previous experience in a professional office setting (medical or behavioral health experience is a plus but not required)
