Characteristics and Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain a supportive and unrestricted living environment.

Model daily living skills such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, organization, adaptability, and time management.

Facilitate weekly suite meetings and build positive relationships with residents.

Assist with transportation and daily routines as appropriate.

Support social skill development and conflict resolution.

Respond appropriately to student concerns or crises and follow reporting procedures.

Collaborate with Coastal

LIFE staff and attend required trainings.

Uphold university and program policies, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

Full-time CCU student.

Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 and semester GPA of 2.75.

Successful completion of a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications

Licensure and/or Certification.

Good judgment, commitment, self-discipline, maturity, self-awareness, energy, knowledge of the campus and its resources, sensitivity to cultural diversity, and common sense.
