The position has a potential start date of August 16th, 2026, or January 4th, 2027, and is based in Conway, South Carolina, just 9 miles from Myrtle Beach.

The department offers B.F.A. and B.A. degrees in Theatre Arts, a B.A. in Theatre, and minors in Dance and Theatre. Our program includes an ambitious production season, new‑works seasons, staged readings, and partnerships with industry professionals and Theatre Academy London. Adjunct faculty are expected to provide high‑quality instruction, maintain regular communication with students, hold appropriate office hours or consultation opportunities, assess student learning, and participate in departmental activities.

Opportunities may exist to mentor student projects, support productions, assist in recruitment, outreach, or other departmental needs.

Applicants must have completed at least 18 graduate credit hours in Theatre. A master’s degree, MFA, or equivalent graduate degree in Theatre or a closely related field is preferred. Preference is given to candidates with successful college‑level teaching and/or substantial professional theatre experience.

Compensation is competitive and based on qualifications and teaching load.
