Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time positions:
Assistant Vice President for University Housing in the University Housing Department.

Required Requirements:
Masters degree and ten (10) years of progressive experience within housing. Budget and financial-management experience. Significant personnel/supervisory experience. Strategic planning and organizational leadership experience. Crisis-management and compliance experience.

Preferred Requirements:
At least five (5) years of senior-level management experience, Doctorate in higher education, education, business, public administration, or related field, Experience managing a housing system of 5,000+ beds. Experience managing a multimillion-dollar housing budget. Experience with major housing construction, renovation, P3/private housing partnerships, or debt-financed capital projects. Experience with housing technology such as Star Rez. Experience with occupancy optimization, revenue management, and housing demand modeling.

Experience leading housing operations during major institutional crises.

• Executive Leadership, Strategic Direction & Institutional Alignment
  - Provides executive leadership for University Housing, establishing mission, vision, priorities, and long-range strategies that support institutional goals. Represents University Housing in campus-wide planning, policy development, and decision-making. Ensures alignment with enrollment, retention, student success, financial sustainability, and campus master planning.
• Financial Oversight & Business Stewardship
  - Provides executive oversight and serves as the Budget Officer for the University's 38 million housing enterprise Directs the development and execution of operating budgets financial controls and business processes to ensure fiscal integrity, operational effectiveness, and long-term financial sustainability. Promotes disciplined stewardship of institutional resources through transparent reporting, accountability, and alignment with University's strategic plan. Partners closely with Director of Auxiliary Finance, who provides financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support data-informed decision making and housing rate strategies.
• Facilities, Operations & Capital Planning
  - Oversees 1.4 million square feet of Housing Facilities, including maintenance, custodial services, access control, warehouse operations, renovations, and capital construction. Ensures safe, reliable, compliant, and student-centered residential facilities. Guides facility condition assessments, deferred maintenance planning, capital project prioritization, and modernization initiatives.
• Residence Life, Student Experience & Community Wellbeing
  - Oversees Residence Life, including residential education, student engagement, community development, risk management, emergency preparedness, crisis response, behavioral intervention, and student conduct. Ensures residential environments support belonging, learning, safety, and student success.
• Administration, Compliance, Occupancy Management, Assignments & Enrollment Support
