The expected annual salary range for this role is $109,000 - $159,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What You’ll DoThe Material Operations Manager is responsible for managing the internal materials and scheduling processes required inside an Eaton factory in order to drive the maximum adherence to the Master Production Schedule provided by the Network Planning team through the SIOP process.
In This Role You Will- Manage material flow, inventory transactions, and short-term production scheduling to support plant operations.
- Oversee indirect and MRO purchasing in compliance with Eaton policies.
- Monitor production schedule execution, labor allocation, and elevate material availability issues.
- Drive forecast attainment and execute shipment schedules aligned with customer priorities.
- Maintain target inventory levels, meet on-time delivery goals, and manage freight costs.
- Champion continuous improvement using lean tools and standardized processes.
- Ensure data integrity for plant-owned systems, including routings, WMS, and production scheduling.
- Act as primary escalation point for SIOP plan execution.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Five (5) years of materials, operations and/or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Three (3) years of people management experience.

- Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Jonesville, SC.
- Experience in supporting cross‑functional SIOP and inventory management processes.
- Technical knowledge of forecasting techniques, bill of material structuring and scheduling execution.
- ERP knowledge preferably by current business systems.
- In‑depth knowledge of plant manufacturing processes and value streams from raw materials to finished product.
- APICS CPIM Certification is desirable.
