Admissions RN- Behavioral Health

Responsibilities

The Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse for our Admissions Department to join our team.

Primary responsibilities include performing assessments and contraband searches before a patient is transferred to their designated unit, communicating nursing hand‑off information to the nursing department, assisting during downtime with making referrals to in‑house physicians to assess qualification for admission, providing a resource to handle overflow intake referrals to ensure loss of referrals is minimized, and monitoring intake flow via dashboard.

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of South Carolina (or eligible to receive or renew‑compact)
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Preferred 1‑3 years of experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting
• CPI certification preferred
