Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: ARMA 3 ACE style Medical Mod

Welcome and thank you for looking into this job!

This system should contain the following wounds a casualty could sustain:

  • Lacerations
  • Abrasions
  • Avulsions

The medic should be able to have treatment options such as:

  • Elastic bandages
  • Administering blood/blood bags
  • Stitching wounds
  • AED / CPR

This system should allow for a medic to locate an injured combatant, open a menu and treat them. Similar to the Arma 3 Medical System, a menu should open and show a diagram of the body

From here, a medic would be able to diagnose an injury and properly treat it. In this image, there is a leg injury

The idea is that when a player takes damage to one of their limbs, chest or head, an injury would be applied to this chart. If left untreated, blood loss can occur, which will cause the casualty to go unresponsive. A medic would work to locate a casualty and treat them before they go unresponsive or, if they don’t make it in time, unresponsive from blood loss.

This system should be involved with the default GMod death system and allow for players to be revived with treatment.

Further, this system should allow any person to use the menu. However, an option to set certain SteamIDs as medics would allow them to do more extensive care. For example:

A normal combatant would be able to:

  • Apply elastic, packing bandages
  • Apply tourniquets
  • perform CPR

A Medic would be able to:

  • Apply elastic, packing bandages
  • Apply tourniquets
  • perform CPR

Systems to include heart rate, alertness etc. should be included. For instance, a medic may administer epinephrine to attempt to get a pulse back during CPR. Administering too much epinephrine to a person may cause cardiac arrest after regaining the casualty, in which adenosine may be needed.

This mod for players should be able to be enabled or disabled by SAM commands. By default, the mod should be disabled and only enabled by the SAM command or GUI.

Further, injured Clone Trooper entities should be created with the ability to change the models and animations (we will have our own, to include base NPC animations. Author will not be expected to develop them), using a GUI for staff members. The entities should have a "stabilized" text appear over them once they are sufficiently treated. TLDR; these entities should work the exact way players do when the SAM command is enabled.

This entity should work with the system regardless if the regular player system is enabled.

This mod is extensive, so a person with knowledge of using Ace3 in Arma3 is preferred. I do understand this system will take time and assets to be created, so budget is definitely negotiable depending on time and experience :)

Please feel free to message me here or put a method of contact in your application for clarification. Thank you for reading again and have a great day!
