Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Provides expert nursing care to adult patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units during night shifts. Ensures patient safety, monitors vital signs, and administers treatments in accordance with healthcare standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and respond to changes promptly.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient information accurately within electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and patient care standards during float assignments.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid SC nursing license in good standing.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner EMR and float pool procedures.
• Maintain BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• Have strong IV skills, including specialty IV procedures.
• Willing to work night shifts and flexible to float within the hospital.
