Job Summary:
Seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic clinical environment with a focus on maternal and neonatal well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Administer patient care and monitor vital signs for laboring mothers and neonates.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Prepare and assist with deliveries, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Document patient information accurately within the Cerner EMR system.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care and neonatal health.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid state nursing license required; verification via Nursys or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and FHM certifications.
- Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00).
- Travel experience preferred; local candidates accepted at the same rate.
- Strong communication skills and ability to float within hospital units or affiliate outpatient clinics.
