Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide essential patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role requires experienced clinicians capable of managing varied obstetric cases, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to obstetric patients using evidence-based practices.
• Monitor and assess fetal and maternal status continuously during labor.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and interventions according to clinical protocols.
• Document patient information accurately using Cerner EMR system.
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate outpatient clinics as needed, maintaining flexibility.

Qualifications:

• Valid state license as a Registered Nurse, verifiable via Nursys or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and FHM certifications.
• Ability to adapt to shared responsibilities across different units.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Possession of travel and compliance documentation as required.
