Registered Nurse Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry RNs for night shifts in a float pool setting. Candidates will provide expert nursing care to adult patients, monitor telemetry, and float within the hospital as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• Monitor cardiac and other vital signs using telemetry equipment with attention to patient stability.
• Float across various units within the hospital, adapting to different patient needs and unit protocols.
• Administer IV therapy, including specialty IVs, utilizing primary IV skills.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in Cerner EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure safety.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid state RN license with Nursys or comparable verification.
• Have at least 2 years of recent medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac assessment.
• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Be able to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and adapt to floating requirements.
• Have float pool experience preferred and strong IV skills.
