Description:
5 night shifts needed from 7 PM to 7 AM. Registered Nurse will float to other MS/Tele units as needed. Candidates must have 2 years of MS/Tele experience. Float pool experience is preferred, along with PCU/Step Down experience. Telemetry experience on the unit and monitoring is required. The role involves diagnosing associated with medical, surgical, and cardiac patients. Nurses are expected to have primary IV skills.
No first-time travelers for this float position. Local candidates accepted. Patient to nurse ratio is 1:6, with potential flexing to 1:7 when necessary. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required. Self-scheduling and blocked scheduling are allowed. CERNER EMR experience is required. Patient age group includes adults. Flu vaccine is required; medical and religious exemptions allowed. Candidates should possess skills including managing IVs, administering blood products, and interpreting dysrhythmias.
The role requires experience with high-flow nasal cannula and various cardiac procedures. Team support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy among others. No return staff policy applies after being away for one year. Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals.
