Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach (formerly Carolina Pines) is seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Food & Beverage Cashier (Seasonal) to join our team. As the first point of contact at our snack bar outlets, you will provide exceptional customer service while efficiently handling guest transactions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fun, fast‑paced resort environment while assisting guests and helping create a positive and memorable experience.

The Cashier is responsible for accurately processing payments and maintaining proper cash‑handling procedures.

• Accurately process guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and house charges
• Verify check totals and ensure all transactions are completed correctly
• Provide excellent guest service and address concerns in a professional manner
• Follow cash‑handling and accounting guidelines for cash drawer and house bank management
• Balance and secure the house bank at the end of each shift
• Maintain compliance with Point of Sale (POS) procedures and resort policies

• Guest service experience required; hospitality or food & beverage experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer proficiency, including email and internet use
• Basic math skills required for cash handling, making change, and balancing drawers
• Ability to resolve guest concerns calmly and effectively
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with guests and understand menus
• Ability to operate POS systems and cashier equipment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods
