About The Role
The Solutions Consultant is responsible for driving bookings and revenue for Your Cause solutions, including CSRconnect, Grants Connect, and Impact Edge. Leveraging their technical and sales expertise, the Solutions Consultant will prescribe comprehensive solutions and demonstrate the technology that meets the prospect's needs. This includes showcasing how Your Cause solutions can integrate with the prospect's existing tech stack to highlight their value and potential impact.
This position supports customers and prospects across the US and Canada.
- Drive Bookings and Revenue:
Focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth for Your Cause solutions. - Deliver Demos:
Lead comprehensive and technical demos for customers and prospects, including C-Level audiences. - Serve as the Expert:
Be a business, industry, and technical expert on Your Cause solutions and key plays. - Qualify Opportunities:
Conduct discovery sessions to uncover pain points and gather requirements with prospects. - Serve as an Opportunity Strategy Partner:
Guide the sales process and opportunity strategy to maximize success. - Develop Business Cases:
Create compelling business cases for value and return on investment to realize customer outcomes. - Enable Buyers:
Provide tools, content, and demonstrations to help buyers select Your Cause solutions for their CSR and grantmaking needs. - Support Account Executives:
Equip Account Executives with the knowledge and tools to sell with higher velocity. - Collaborate Across Teams:
Act as a critical link between Sales, Marketing, and Products. - Provide Input:
Contribute to Sales and Marketing campaigns, cadences, and events. - Nurture Feedback Loop:
Facilitate communication between Products and frontline buyers and sellers. - Sales Enablement:
Deliver sessions to enable Account Executives and Sales Managers to drive sales excellence across the entire funnel. - Recommend Services:
Provide recommendations for sales of implementation packages and related services. - Respond to RFPs:
Provide functional and technical responses to customer RFPs and RFIs. - Document Insights:
Upon closing opportunities, document key observations and insights and communicate that to the implementation team. - Train New Personnel:
Assist in the onboarding and training of new sales personnel.
- Experience:
Prior experience in corporate social responsibility (CSR), nonprofit fundraising, or related fields. - Knowledge:
Familiarity with Your Cause solutions (CSRconnect, Grants Connect, Impact Edge) is preferred. - Persuasion
Skills:
Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. - Presentation
Skills:
Experience developing and delivering presentations to executive-level and working-level audiences. - Technical Translation:
Ability to translate technical features into business benefits. - Strategic Recommendations:
Ability to recommend strategic workflows and policies related to product solutions. - Analytical
Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. - Travel:
Willingness to travel occasionally in support of sales pursuits and marketing events.

The starting base salary and annual proposed commission is $98,400.00 to $. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, sales quota, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
