Security Professional Flex Officer – Armed Experienced:
Morning Shift

Starting Base Pay: $18.05 per hour

Workdays Available:
Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Available Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Age Requirement: 21+ Years

Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED/DD214

Required Experience:

  • 6+ Months in Armed Security, Law Enforcement, or Military
  • DD214 with Honorable Discharge OR Associate’s Degree/60 College Credits OR Police Academy Certificate OR Corrections Academy Certificate
  • Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent
  • Security Experience – 1+ Year

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
  • Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
  • Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
  • Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
  • Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
  • Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property is conducted within client requirements
  • Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
  • Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE)
  • High school diploma or verifiable high school diploma or GED (certificates of completion not acceptable)
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment
  • Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
  • Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws; consideration of qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • Drug screen as permitted by law
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Demonstrated courtesy in interacting with the public
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations accurately and quickly
  • Conflict mediation with tact and diplomacy
  • Teamwork
  • Attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE)
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
  • Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
