Work location:

This position may be based anywhere in the United States and includes 25-50% travel as part of the responsibilities.

Job Summary:

The Vice President of Global Electronics Manufacturing is a critical enterprise leader responsible for shaping and executing the end-to-end electronics manufacturing strategy across a global portfolio of lighting and controls solutions. This role sits at the intersection of product innovation, engineering, supply chain, and operations—ensuring scalable, resilient, and cost-effective manufacturing capabilities that accelerate growth and differentiate performance in the market. The VP will architect a future-ready electronics ecosystem—driving standardization, modularity, and advanced manufacturing strategies while navigating geopolitical complexity, regulatory requirements, and evolving technology landscapes.

This leader will build and lead a high-performing global organization spanning strategy, NPI, manufacturing engineering, and operational excellence. The role reports directly to SVP, Global Manufacturing for Acuity Brands Lighting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Engineering
  • Minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience
  • Extensive Electronics Manufacturing expertise
  • Experience in Supply Chain and Cost leadership in Electronics
  • Experience in utilizing software for late-stage customization within manufacturing
  • Cross-functional and Executive Influence
  • Strategic leadership and transformation
  • Operational excellence and execution (Quality, Service, and Productivity)
  • Outcome-driven mindset and customer focus
  • Manage change:
    Drive effective change management and evolve from where we are today

Preferred Experience:

  • Master's Degree
  • Strategic and operational experience within Manufacturing or Supply Chain
