Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Conyers, GA

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia
• Prior experience providing 1:1 care or supporting students within a school environment
• Expertise in monitoring and managing g/j tubes, oxygen administration, and other general health skills required for medically fragile populations
• Comfortable fulfilling assignments that vary in need, including riding the bus with assigned students
• Professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and healthcare teams
• Committed to maintaining confidentiality and fostering a safe, nurturing environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct 1:1 nursing support for assigned students throughout the school day
• Administer medication, manage specialized medical equipment, and respond proactively to student health needs
• Monitor and document student health status and interventions in accordance with school protocols
• Assist classroom staff with understanding and supporting students' medical needs
• Safely accompany students to and from school as needed, ensuring care on school transportation
• Communicate regularly with healthcare providers and guardians regarding student status
• Participate in health planning and team meetings as required
