Infant Teacher – Help Build Amazing Little Brains! At Peachtree Prep, our Infant Teachers are among the most important people on campus. They help build the foundation for a lifetime of learning during the most critical stage of brain development.

• Create a warm, loving, and engaging classroom environment
• Plan fun and developmentally appropriate activities that include music and movement, story time and early literacy, language development, sensory exploration, outdoor play, gross motor activities, and social-emotional learning
• Sing songs and support growth in language, brain development, and social skills
• Partner with families to celebrate milestones and successes

• Education credentials are a plus but not required for all positions

Compensation is based on experience, education level, credentials, and completed training.

• Create weekly lesson plans that encourage brain development and stimulating activities
• Singing songs and teaching rhymes
• Talking to children throughout the day to stimulate language development
• Rock children to sleep and nurture them
• Feeding children and practicing self-help skills
• Follow all state rules and regulations
• Maintain great relationships with other staff
• Take direction well from the administrative team
• Learn the rules and regulations from Bright from the Start

2 year degree is preferred but experience matters, so talk to us about what you have to offer!

Previous experience working in a school or childcare setting or a church related nursery setting; CPR / First Aid

The early childhood division bases its academic program on weekly units of study for academic advancement. Teachers use lesson plans to guide delivery and address individual issues of advanced skill levels or areas of improvement. Parents may supplement the curriculum by bringing in books, materials, or ideas related to the theme for the benefit of the class.
