RMSST 4-8 is classified as a non-traditional Magnet school opening in August 2026 for students in 4th-8th grade. It is a rigorous program focused on STEM, interdisciplinary project-based learning, and the design thinking process. 8th Grade students will take Carnegie courses to gain high school credit.
RequirementsApplicants must be flexible, possess a growth mindset, collaborate positively and effectively with others, and take initiative. Candidates must hold current special education certification with a preference for mobility and orientation certification. They must be able to establish positive relationships and have knowledge of state and federal laws of students with disabilities. Having knowledge of dual exceptionality is preferred.
