LEARNING SUPPORT - CCEIS COORDINATOR

The Full-Time CCEIS Coordinator will provide leadership, oversight, and coordination for the implementation of the Rockdale County School District's Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CCEIS) Plan.

Director of Learning Support of Instruction

• Education:
  
  Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Educational Leadership, Special Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Administration, School Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Certification:
  Must hold a valid Georgia Professional Educator Certificate. Educational Leadership;
  Special Education certification is preferred.
• Experience:
  
  A minimum of five (5) years of successful educational experience is required. Experience in special education administration, MTSS implementation, grant management, program coordination, instructional. leadership, or educational compliance is preferred. Experience with Georgia Department of Education initiatives, IDEA requirements, and CCEIS implementation is highly desirable.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, Georgia MTSS Framework, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CCEIS) requirements. The candidate must demonstrate strong organizational, leadership, project management, communication, collaboration, and data analysis skills. The ability to monitor grant implementation, analyze district and school-level data, prepare state reports, facilitate meetings, provide technical assistance, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations is essential.
  
  Proficiency with district data systems, Microsoft Office applications, and maintaining confidentiality of student records is required.

• The CCEIS Coordinator will coordinate the implementation of the district's Georgia Department of Education Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CCEIS) plan and ensure all activities are implemented in accordance with approved grant objectives, timelines, and federal requirements.
• The coordinator will oversee the implementation of academic and behavioral interventions across designated CCEIS schools, monitor personnel, facilitate collaboration among district and school leadership teams, and provide technical assistance regarding CCEIS requirements, MTSS implementation, and evidence-based intervention practices.
• The coordinator will collect, analyze, and maintain student, program, and implementation data to evaluate program effectiveness and ensure compliance with Georgia Department of Education reporting requirements. The position will prepare quarterly, annual, and other required reports, maintain grant documentation, coordinate meetings, provide professional learning, and support continuous improvement efforts.
• The coordinator will collaborate with Exceptional Children Services leadership, school administrators, instructional staff, MTSS teams, and other district departments to ensure successful implementation of activities, achievement of program objectives, and compliance with all federal, state, and district requirements. Additional duties may be assigned by the Director of Exceptional Children Services/Learning Support as necessary to support grant implementation and district priorities.
• Section IV - Specific CCEIS Responsibilities
• The CCEIS Coordinator assigned through the Georgia Department of Education Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CCEIS) plan will oversee implementation of the district's federally approved CCEIS Plan across one designated elementary school, one designated middle school, and one designated high school.
