We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to design, draw and plan the manufacturing, installation and functionality of electrical systems and controls utilized in the electrical energy portion of commercial refrigeration systems.

• Develop electrical specifications for new refrigeration products.
• Lead electrical cost‑out projects of existing refrigeration rack systems without loss of quality or function.
• Modify existing and create new AutoCAD electrical schematic drawings, as well as Bills of Material for jobs.
• Interface with Inside Sales, Engineering and Production teams to design and engineer refrigeration equipment.
• Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
• Design plans and accurately document the manufacturing, installation, and operation of electric or electronic components, equipment, systems, and machinery.
• Develop applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial and industrial refrigeration uses.
• Design, construct, and test prototype equipment for electrical functionality.
• Interpret blueprints and layouts to verify and plan appropriate electrical needs.
• Direct activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, and installation conform to customer requirements.
• Evaluate, test, document results and modify experimental equipment, concepts, and systems.
• Prepare and correlate short‑ and long‑term engineering plans and programs for design, construction, or alteration of activities.
• Formulate and recommend engineering policies and technical work in accordance with project objectives.
• Approve process specification and design standards.
• Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Experience with software and controls applications, able to write algorithms, deploy and debug applications and document for internal and external use.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology

• 1+ years of experience in the refrigeration industry

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with positive can‑do attitude
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail
• The ability to demonstrate dependability and flexibility to manage work as required
• Working knowledge of NEC
• Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical and/or Solid Works Electrical
• Microsoft Office Suite
