Senior Manager, Product

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Application to lead application strategy and technical deployment of commercial refrigeration solutions. In this leadership role, you will guide a cross-functional team to translate customer requirements into feasible system designs, ensuring performance, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will partner with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to optimize product applications, support major bids, and resolve complex field issues.

The role champions continuous improvement, mentors engineers, and helps shape the roadmap for sustainable, innovative food retail refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead product application strategy and execution for commercial refrigeration solutions
• Translate customer and market requirements into technically feasible system designs
• Collaborate with Sales on solution scoping, proposals, and major customer bids
• Partner with Engineering and Operations to ensure manufacturability and reliability
• Oversee review of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Provide advanced technical support on complex field applications and issues
• Drive application standards, tools, and best practices for efficiency and quality
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and energy-efficiency requirements
• Mentor and develop application engineers and technical specialists
• Support product roadmap decisions with application and customer insights
