Our client, a leading architectural structures company is actively searching for a Financial Controller for their Conyers, GA operation. This is a direct hire position and a fantastic opportunity to join a growing industry leader.

• Oversees financial activities for two offices.
• Evaluates internal accounting procedures and systems.
• Responsible for training Accounting/Office Managers as required.
• Responsible for prioritizing the activities of the Accounting/Office Managers to provide timely and accurate reports regarding the financial condition of the company.
• Ensures that all sales / use tax filings and other financial related matters, such as annual audits, are performed as needed.
• Assist with any local, state or Federal audits and the interface between the company and external auditors.

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in roles such as cost accountant, internal auditor, or senior accountant.
• Experience managing an accounting or office team
• Must be well‑versed at handling sales / use tax filings promptly
• Internal and External audit experience
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
• Manufacturing and/or Construction industry experience is a plus
