Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Financial Analyst who will perform detailed reporting and analysis to support financial planning and reporting requirements. This individual will also analyse data to support leadership in decision making.

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

• Preparing weekly and monthly reporting packages which include revenue analysis, labor analysis, variance analysis, and other operational performance reports.
• Prepare and take ownership of aspects of the monthly and annual forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models & templates to support Dover requirements
• Partner with the Engineering and Supply Chain functions to validate and track productivity initiatives.
• Develop relationships with department heads to improve forecasting and cost ownership of department budgets
• Help drive business intelligence automation reports and adoption
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as necessary

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 1 – 3 years of experience of financial reporting experience.

• Previous role in Finance or Accounting for a manufacturing company.
• Experience in financial forecasting and financial modeling.
• Power BI, Power Query, and Hyperion experience a plus

• Intermediate knowledge and experience with FP&A, budgeting and forecasting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data-mining ability
• Demonstrated ability to initiate analysis and drive positive change based upon data
• Exceptional organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
