Charge RN - Surgical East (FT Nights) -

Description Provides nursing leadership, will assess, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate the care patients in assigned unit to meet the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of the patient and family.

Reports to:

Nurse Manager

FLSA:
Non-exempt

• Provide nursing leadership, assess, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate the care patients in assigned unit to meet the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of the patient and family.

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Certifications:
• BLS
• ACLS - preferred
• PALS
• Licenses:
  Current GA RN
• Recent experience as an RN in acute care facility in medical/surgical unit preferred
• 2 years job related experience preferred
• Experience with computerized nursing documentation preferred
