RN Inpatient Flow Coordinator

Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency care, plus most major medical, surgical and diagnostic services.

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Coordinate the movement of patients as it relates to admissions, transfers, and discharges and act as a liaison with Medical Staff to ensure that patient care is delivered in an efficient and safe manner.

MINIMUM

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of nursing program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

Five years experience working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting; competent to work in multiple areas including acute and critical care settings; experience with conscious sedation required for working at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and have excellent assessment and prioritization skills. 3 years of leadership responsibility preferred.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification through American Heart Association.
