Registered Behavior Technician – In Community

Provide one‑on‑one ABA therapy to children in natural environments—including homes, schools, and daycares—within the Metro Atlanta community. This role supports families, educators, and caregivers to foster skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and generalization across settings.
What You’ll Do- Deliver direct ABA therapy following individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans in homes, schools, and daycares.
- Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction strategies with fidelity across multiple natural environments.
- Support development in communication, social skills, daily living, academics, and play.
- Collect accurate session data using Motivity software and complete session notes per treatment plan.
- Utilize AAC devices and interactive game systems to enhance engagement.
- Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, Clinical Director, and the transdisciplinary team.
- Communicate professionally with caregivers, teachers, and daycare staff, positioning families as active partners.
- Generalize skills across activities and settings to promote long‑term success.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and respectful therapy environment in each setting.
- Participate in regular team meetings and ongoing training opportunities.
- Travel between client locations throughout Metro Atlanta.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active RBT certification (BACB) in good standing.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Passion for working with children and making a real difference.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and ethical standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, flexible, and responsive to client needs.
- Ability to adapt to diverse environments (homes, schools, daycares).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Willingness and ability to complete thorough session documentation promptly and accurately.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an ABA setting.
- Previous experience working with children with autism or developmental delays in community settings.
- Background in special education or related field.
- Familiarity with data collection systems and ABA principles.
- Safety Care training certification.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance.
