The US Navy seeks Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTI) to serve as linguists and intelligence professionals who collect, translate, transcribe and analyze foreign language communications for national security and fleet operations.
CTIs work with classified information and advanced AI/ML systems, and may deploy aboard ships or submarines. After Recruit Training, two phases of Navy A School and language instruction at Monterey and Goodfellow support their development.
