Vaco Atlanta is hiring a Senior Buyer for a globally backed manufacturing leader where your sourcing strategy, supplier partnerships, and operational decision-making will directly support production, innovation, and business growth.

Pay$80,000 - $90,000 annually
What You’ll Do- Own purchasing and sourcing for raw materials, components, and production‑related supplies
- Manage supplier relationships, pricing negotiations, contracts, and performance metrics
- Partner cross‑functionally with production, engineering, quality, finance, and warehouse teams to keep operations moving
- Monitor inventory, shortages, and KPIs to proactively solve supply‑chain challenges
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives around cost savings, supplier performance, and process optimization
- 8+ years of purchasing/sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction experience
- Hands‑on ERP/MRP experience with inventory planning and demand management
- Proven ability to support plant operations and make data‑driven decisions
- Advanced Excel skills; VISUAL/Oracle ERP experience a plus
- Lean, APICS (CPIM/CSCP), or supplier development experience is highly valued
