Expeditor Purchasing

Vaco Atlanta is hiring a detail-oriented Purchasing Expeditor to support our clients purchasing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in procurement and supply chain while gaining hands-on experience supporting a team of Buyers.

Role: Purchasing Expeditor

Location: Conyers, GA

Onsite: 100% onsite, temporary overtime may be required.

Job Type: Contract

Contract Length: 4-6 months

Compensation: $28-$32/hour

• Create and update purchase orders and maintain open-order reports
• Track orders, deliveries, and supplier commitments
• Follow up with suppliers and update delivery dates
• Review MRP demand and process ERP system updates
• Identify discrepancies or delays and escalation issues appropriately
• Maintain accurate purchasing data and documentation

• 1–4 years of purchasing support, order management, inventory, supply chain coordination, or related manufacturing experience
• ERP/MRP system experience
• Strong Excel and data-entry skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, communication, and follow-through
• Ability to manage repetitive, high-volume work accurately
