Wastewater Operator Manager

Are you currently managing or supervising a municipal wastewater treatment plant and looking to take the next step in your career?

We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead wastewater operations at multiple facilities based in Conyers, GA. We are looking for candidates who have successfully managed municipal wastewater treatment facilities, regulatory compliance, plant performance, and frontline operations teams. Highest level state wastewater operator license is required.

• Ensuring compliance with EPA, OSHA, DOT, and state regulatory requirements
• Overseeing daily plant operations, maintenance, repairs, and capital equipment planning
• Managing operational budgets and performance metrics
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant efficiency and reliability
• Partnering with stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and effective wastewater treatment operations

• 5+ years of water/wastewater experience, ideally within a municipal wastewater environment
• Previous supervisory or plant leadership experience
• Active Water/Wastewater Operator License, Georgia preferred
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, regulatory reporting, and compliance management
• Proven ability to lead teams, solve complex operational challenges, and manage multiple priorities
