Forklift Operator

Overview

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. producer of Yellawood® brand pressure-treated pine is seeking 2nd and 3rd shift forklift operators for the location in Conyers, GA. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and full benefits package.

Drives industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed.
• Keeps record of inventory.

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have at least 3 years previous forklift experience.
• Lumber experience a plus!
