Shift Maintenance Associate should possess mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics knowledge enabling a comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and controls. Requires some training in industrial electrical/electronic or experience in an industrial environment.

Primary duties include troubleshooting and repairing production equipment during breakdowns, installing replacement parts from on‑site stock, minimizing machine downtime, and periodically inspecting equipment to ensure proper operation and prevent breakdowns.

• High‑voltage troubleshooting up to 480V, 3‑phase power.
• Low‑voltage control circuit troubleshooting, including computer‑based controls.
• Operation of test equipment such as digital multimeters and amp meters.
• Electrical and electronic component testing for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Pneumatic and hydraulic system diagnosis and repair.
• Repair or replacement of industrial mechanical/electrical/electronic components.
• Participation in preventive maintenance programs and maintenance records using MC or other CMMIS.
• Basic troubleshooting and maintenance of automation/production equipment.
• Maintenance, set‑up, and preventive maintenance of automation/production equipment.
• Reading schematics and identifying electrical symbols.
• Use of computer‑based inventory system to locate spare parts and generate reports.
• Daily duties in Maintenance Connection.
• Completion of quality work within time standards set by management.
• Use of mandatory safety equipment and adherence to safety rules and regulations.
• Assistance to maintenance/production staff as needed.
• Possible training of other employees.
• Work alone or as part of a team.
• Flexibility with schedule as required.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, tidy area of responsibility.
• Adherence to company rules and policies.

• 3+ years of technician experience in industrial maintenance; preference for plastics industry.
• Strong mix of technical experience and skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance, VFDs, servo motors, and PLCs.
• Strong customer‑service skills and interpersonal communication.
• Strong oral and written communication, teamwork, judgment, motivation, planning, organizing, professionalism, quality, safety, adaptability, attendance, punctuality, dependability, initiative.
• HS diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
• Own tools and ability to use them safely and effectively.
