Job Summary
This position prepares, packs, labels, and moves products according to order requirements while following established safety procedures. The role involves operating equipment, performing general warehouse tasks, supporting special projects, and maintaining effective communication and professional working relationships in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepares packages according to written or computer-generated orders.
- Wraps, protects, and packs orders, seals, glues, and labels containers with appropriate identification.
- Weighs, transports, stacks or arranges products and packed containers.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Performs work under direct and indirect supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher‑level staff.
- Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Typically reports to a shift supervisor and/or warehouse manager.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to lift/move heavy objects.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Associates may be required to perform various job duties throughout the building such as operating machinery, housekeeping, auditing, processing Fed Ex and/or UPS, and working on special projects.
- Reliability: reports to work at the scheduled time and is rarely absent.
- Completes work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner and is aware of assignments.
- Communicates effectively with management members, leaders, and the team.
- Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and maintains constructive working relationships.
- This job operates in a manufacturing environment exposed to dust, odors, noise, and extreme conditions.
