• Provide leadership to team leads and front-line hourly production team members; ensure a safe work environment, define expectations, provide resources, coach/teach/train associates, ensure accountability, and provide feedback.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement; conduct root cause analysis and develop/implement corrective action plans.
• Maintain production schedule, meeting both quality and productivity requirements.
• Maintain good inventory control procedures for all raw material that may be required in assignment department(s).
• Partner with supply chain, quality, shipping, and other departments to ensure targets are met safely, on time, and to established quality standards.
• Ensure timely response to operational issues impacting customer expectations and project cycle time performance.
• Be knowledgeable of company policies and engage appropriate resources when required to handle issues that arise.
• Support, communicate, implement, sustain, and consistently enforce all company policies/procedures.
• Build and sustain good morale and attitudes among all reporting associates.
• Initiate requisitions for open positions; interview and determine best candidate for the position.
• Document associate skills and knowledge to create a skills matrix of training needs and accomplishments.
• Capture/analyze data regarding productivity and identify causes for high and low productivity.
• Understand production requirements and direct resources to procure shipment items.
• Communicate decisions with data and documentation.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping in ADP for all assigned direct reports.
• Enforce safety rules, practices and procedures to ensure safety of associates, buildings, grounds and machinery.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership position (e.g., team lead, supervisor).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Two years’ experience with 5S, Lean/Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to interact and work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work extended and/or weekend hours when required.
