AboutThe Role
Lead production associates to properly operate equipment from a safety, quality, and efficient perspective, while maintaining the cleanliness of all equipment.
What You'll Do- Adhere to safety, food safety, quality and legal compliance.
- Perform all work per environmental, health and safety standards.
- Ensure start-up/shutdown of equipment and processes.
- Inspect machinery for operational readiness and cleanliness.
- Troubleshoot machine operations with operators and maintenance.
- Coordinate production schedule with Supervisor.
- Identify proper product flow from tanks to machines.
- Assist in training new associates and provide break relief.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of departmental operational positions and procedures.
- Ability to perform lockout/tagout.
- Ability to complete and review production paperwork.
- Ability to disassemble/reassemble equipment using COP/CIP processes.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
