Process Technician I – Your Key Role in Keeping Operations Running Smoothly!

The primary responsibility of the Process Technician I is to serve as a process subject matter expert for a specific process/department. The Process Technician I must safely monitor, maintain, and enhance production processes to ensure effective and consistent output.
The Technician will verify that manufacturing processes comply with work instructions, machine parameters, and engineering instruction to produce high quality and compliant products. Process technician I's are expected to identify, and report process breakdowns and make process adjustments within defined parameters will be required. Process Technician I's are expected to react safely and quickly; always focusing on operator safety and process stability.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Maintains organization and cleanliness of work area, ensuring no safety hazards exist.
- Collaborates with Supervisor and Production Planner for proper changeovers, i.e. Conduit and CVT.
- Ensures smooth and efficient production processes.
- Maintains cleanliness of tools, dies, and molds through the preventative maintenance process.
- Monitors and upholds required quality standards throughout the shift.
Bonus Skills That Will Set You Apart
- Experience with barcode scanning equipment or RFID technology
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies independently
- Prior experience in a similar inventory or warehouse role
Preferred Background
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2– 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or recycle center
- Strong mechanical and math skills
- Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume work environment.
- Proactive "self-starter" with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Additional Details
- Shift: 2,2,3 schedule 2nd Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks safely
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are important to keep operations running smoothly
