Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Job Summary
The Cath Lab Registered Nurse is responsible for supporting complex cardiovascular procedures by scrubbing, monitoring, and providing direct patient care during cardiac catheterization. The RN must be experienced in advanced cath lab procedures and capable of handling all aspects of invasive cardiovascular care, including structural heart and TAVR procedures. This position accepts first-time travelers and local applicants.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub for all cath lab procedures, including interventional and structural heart cases

• Monitor PA lines and telemetry throughout procedures

• Assist with procedures such as balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, rotablader, and left/right heart catheterization

• Collaborate with physicians and team members during cardiac interventions

• Maintain patient safety and aseptic technique throughout procedures

• Prepare and operate equipment in accordance with procedural protocols

• Document patient care and procedural data accurately

• Ensure readiness of cath lab supplies and instruments

• Provide patient education and post-procedural support

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab RN experience

• Ability to scrub for all procedures (not limited to diagnostics)

• Experience in PA line and telemetry monitoring

• Experience with structural heart procedures and TAVR

• Willing to accept first-time travelers

• Locals accepted

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in circulating, IV starts, and conscious sedation

• Experience with advanced procedures such as Watchman, septal closure, ablations, coil embolization, and filter placement

• Rhythm interpretation and EKG setting knowledge
