Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the team at our clinic location at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Conyers, GA. This is a full‑time position. You will work alongside some of the most respected and highly‑trained physicians and participate in a comprehensive line of cardiovascular services, including electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research services.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of cardiology patients in an outpatient hospital department/clinic, managing chronic patients.
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patients’ record.
- Write consults and office visits.
- Prepare patient workups.
- Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered.
- Work alongside physicians and other cardiology advanced practice providers in a collaborative team.

Minimum Qualifications &
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for advanced practice nursing required.
- Master’s degree in nursing required.
- Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board required.
Certifications:
- ACLS upon hire required.
- BCLS (Basic Life Support) upon hire required.
- PA
- Physician Assistant licensed in the state of Georgia with updated NCCPA certification upon hire required. - ACNP
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner licensed for advanced practice nursing (ACNP/FNP) in the state of Georgia upon hire required.
