Role Overview
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all ages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They ensure adherence to organizational policies, uphold professional standards, and coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver holistic patient care from birth through the lifecycle
- Follow organizational policies and procedures
- Maintain practice standards and coordinate care activities
- Demonstrate professional growth and accountability
- Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates eligible
- Current registered nurse license and BLS certification
- Preferably with hospital experience; bachelor’s degree and advanced certifications are a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
