Job Overview

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all ages, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability. The nurse is responsible for maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality care delivery.

• Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates are eligible
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC Multistate license
• BLS certification required
• Preferred:
  Hospital experience, bachelor’s degree, advanced certification in specialty field
• PRN positions benefit from one year of hospital nursing experience

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Coordinate activities of nursing staff to ensure quality services
• Adhere to organizational policies and standards of practice
