Role Overview
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain practice standards, coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff, and ensure delivery of high-quality nursing services within organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications- Graduate from a nursing program (required), Bachelor's Degree preferred
- No experience required; new graduates eligible
- Hospital experience preferred; 1 year in hospital setting required for PRN
- Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license (required)
- BCLS certification (required)
May include ACLS, PALS, CHEMO/Biotherapy, CDN, NRP, among others, depending on specialty area. Certification completion timelines vary, often within 6 months of start.
