Nursing Education Leader

Role Overview:
This position is a strategic leader responsible for hospital-wide nursing professional development, focusing on advancing clinical education to improve patient care and outcomes.

• Support and promote lifelong learning, evidence-based practice, and competency development based on the ANPD NPD model.
• Mentor and guide unit-based educators, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and professional standards.
• Facilitate, support, and evaluate unit education efforts through coaching and collaboration, without directly delivering education.
• Foster interprofessional collaboration, guide change initiatives, and support role transitions.
• Drive educational strategies informed by data and organizational needs.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required;
  Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in hospital or clinical settings.
• Experience in nursing education, staff development, or clinical leadership preferred.
• Active RN license and multistate licensure required.
• Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPC-BC) within 2 years and membership in ANPD required.
• Advanced certification in specialty area preferred.
