Role Overview

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They work within organizational policies, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. The nurse is responsible for maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among staff to ensure quality nursing services.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school required;
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible. Hospital experience and PRN hospital experience preferred.
• Current Georgia RN license or multistate license (NLC/eNLC) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate activities of assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services.
• Adhere to organizational policies and demonstrate professional accountability.
