Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Responsibilities

• Change oil, filters and replace
• Inspection of equipment
• Servicing all equipment
• Repair and replace needed parts
• Diagnosing equipment problems
• Keep up to date on equipment manuals
• Grease equipment

• Must be able to physically complete all assigned tasks on equipment
• Lifting, pushing and pulling tools and parts
• On‑site maintenance
• Travel mandatory to job site or plants
• Professional attitude & conduct
• Multi‑task, interpersonal communication, problem solving, and time management skills needed
• High degree of safety awareness and safety discipline
• Professional and courteous attitude toward co‑workers, supervisors and the general public at all times
• Willing to travel and work away from home when and if required
• Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and the policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co‑workers or supervisors with other duties as required
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by Pittman Construction Safety and OSHA
• Be at least 18 years of age due to nature of working environment
• Flexibility to the needs of the business, as we continually strive to meet and exceed the needs of customers
• Random and suspicion drug tests are performed; must successfully complete a drug screen and background check to be hired into Pittman Construction
• Follow all company policies per Employee Handbook & Code of Conduct
• Follow all company safety guidelines
